Democrats are already digging for dirt on people that already claimed they are not running for President why?

Like Chris Christi, how insecure and incompetent are they? I know Obama can't run on his record but why is the left wing so scared of potential Republican candidates even after claiming they wont run but still dig up dirt. Its funny how eager the left is to prove how tolerant & compassionate they are.
