I need an investor for an invention?

I have a simple invention that's cheap to make. I am going with an invention company out of Houston called invention resource international. They seem pretty legit. I have put down some money already for the first phase of everything. The second phase and its the last phase has a bigger payment. How do i go about getting an investor to go in with me. Also has anyone heard of this company and what is your thoughts on them. Thanks
