Are there other sites like kickstarter?

i was wondering if theres other sites like kickstarter. im looking to start a cheap hotel chain that is more meant for people in desperate need for a roof over there head and a bed to sleep in and nothing else. i dont believe kickstarter allows projects such as that so i was hoping maybe i could find one. i have plenty of resources to get this done just not the funding.
